DoorScan is built for professional door dealers, estimators, and sales people. We collect only what's needed to run the service, we never sell your data, and we keep your information secure.
DoorScan ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by DoorScan and accessible at doorscanapp.com. We provide AI-powered door scanning software for professional door dealers worldwide.

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and company name.
Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data securely.
Door scan photos: Photos you submit for scanning are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Photos are transmitted securely and are not permanently stored on our servers after analysis.
Usage data: We track scan usage (number of scans used per billing period) to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
Technical data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and device type for security and troubleshooting purposes.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell your data to third parties.
DoorScan uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — User authentication and account data storage. Hosted in the United States.
- Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions and top-up purchases. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI analysis of door photos. Photos are submitted to Anthropic's API and processed per Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Vercel — Web hosting and deployment infrastructure.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery (account and billing emails).
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data handling practices.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Door scan photos are not permanently stored — they are processed by the AI and discarded. Door schedule data (text records) may be stored locally on your device in your browser's local storage.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for data processing

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, and Supabase's Row Level Security to ensure users can only access their own data. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never touches our servers.
DoorScan is a professional B2B tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of DoorScan after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
