By using DoorScan you agree to these terms. Please read them — they cover your subscription, scan usage, what we're responsible for, and how to cancel.
By accessing or using DoorScan at doorscanapp.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including individuals and businesses.
DoorScan provides AI-powered door scanning software for professional door dealers, estimators, and sales people. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze door photographs and generate door schedules, hardware identification, dimension estimates, and condition assessments.
AI-generated results are estimates only. Always physically measure doors before ordering materials or submitting quotes. DoorScan is a productivity tool and does not replace professional measurement and judgment.
DoorScan is offered on a subscription basis with the following plans: Starter ($39/mo), Pro ($89/mo), Business ($199/mo), and Enterprise (custom pricing).
Billing date: Your subscription renews on the same day of the month you originally signed up. For example, if you signed up on the 15th, you are billed on the 15th of each month.
Scan allocation: Each plan includes a monthly scan allocation. Unused monthly scans expire at your billing renewal date and do not roll over.
Top-up packs: Additional scan packs may be purchased at any time. Top-up scans are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Monthly included scans are consumed before top-up scans.
Payments: All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize DoorScan to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. Top-up scan packs are non-refundable once purchased.

You agree to use DoorScan only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service for any illegal activity
- Attempt to circumvent scan limits or billing systems
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
- Submit photos containing private individuals without their consent
- Use automated tools to submit scans at scale beyond your plan allocation
- Share your account credentials with users not covered by your plan's seat allocation
Business plans include up to 3 user seats. All seats on a Business plan share a single scan pool. The account owner is responsible for all activity on seats they have invited.
Enterprise plans support unlimited seats with custom scan volumes agreed at time of contract.
⚠ DoorScan AI provides estimates based on photographic analysis. Dimension estimates, hardware identification, and condition assessments may contain errors. Always physically verify measurements and specifications before placing orders or submitting quotes. DoorScan is not liable for costs arising from reliance on AI-generated estimates without physical verification.
Every scan result includes a confidence score. Results with lower confidence scores should be treated with additional caution and verified on-site.
DoorScan and its underlying technology, design, and content are owned by DoorScan and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
Door photos and scan data you submit remain your property. By submitting photos you grant DoorScan a limited license to process them through the AI analysis service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoorScan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to errors in AI-generated scan results, data loss, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to DoorScan in the three months preceding the claim.
We aim to keep DoorScan available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will attempt to notify users of planned downtime in advance.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service. In cases of serious violations, termination may occur without notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice with at least 14 days notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
